Calving Season is Over but the WORK has just started.

Whew, it's been a long 5 weeks! We've branded, ear-tagged, notched and vaccinated over 200 calves. We wormed and ear-tagged nearly 400 momma cows.

It's been a great experience with my son and my father at my side. Now is the time of year to market cattle, sell culled steers, and move Grass Fed steers to separate pastures.

We are also in the heart of snake and tick season. This wet spring has us fighting weeds and reptiles alike; both are hard to kill. We have been blessed with such timely rains, though, and we have picked up some Good Black Angus momma cows and put our very First Akaushi Bull with them.

We are hoping for a well marbled and easy finish Steers on grass. We also hope to supply our beef to local restaurants and farmers markets this summer. We have a lot of things going and we can't wait to see what God has in store for us this year. Thanks for the support!
